What: Free Weekly Meditation Group   single event

 More Info: Group will be facilitated by Carolyn Kennedy, a psychotherapist and meditation teacher in the Durham
Region. Carolyn is an experienced meditator and was trained in the tradition taught by her spiritual teacher Father John Main, OSB. However, meditation is a global practice available to all, and participants are most welcome to use whatever method they are comfortable with or trained in. The format will include a talk,
then several spiritual readings, and beautiful music leading us into a period of silence and stillness.
Question/answer/discussion and fellowship to follow. This community service is being offered to you as a
gift of love.

When: Every Tuesday morning beginning November 3.

• Anyone wanting to learn meditation techniques to help lower their stress and quieten racing thoughts.
• Members of 12-step programs wishing to learn Meditation as an 11th Step Practice

 More Info: Thermography is a painless, non invasive, state of the art clinical test without any exposure to radiation and is used as part of an early detection program which gives women of all ages the opportunity to increase their chances of detecting breast disease at an early stage.

It is particularly useful for women under 50 where mammography is less effective.

There are 21 indoor and outdoor sports featured in the Games. Events include sports that enjoy worldwide popularity, as well as the Arctic Sports and Dene Games that reflect the unique cultures
of the circumpolar North. Also included in the festivities are cultural galas featuring performances from each of the nine contingent's cultural
representatives.

Opening Celebration:
Join over 2,000 international youth on 'A Hero's Journey'. Opening Ceremonies pay tribute to ancient circumpolar traditions while celebrating the modern multiculturalism of today's North - through music, dance, multi-media, and original character costumes.
